Domain History

Originally my 'domain[s]' were hosted on geocities until I began getting tired of them (the ads on the websites O.O). I decided (with the help of my Mom) to get a domain and get away from the evil ads (one of the many evils of geocities). I went through a lot of hosting and domain plans before finally purchasing. Lunar Tears was registered on September 1, 2004 through Surpass Domains and is hosted at Surpass Hosting.

Behind the Name

So, where does the name Lunar Tears come from? Well, I have to say that Lunar Tears, partly came from Final Fantasy VIII, Lunar Cry. I wanted to make it a little different, and changed Cry to Tears instead. But, yes that's where I originally got the idea for a domain name from ^-^. Why .Org? It sounded better with Lunar Tears, that's why. XD

Current layout features Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII as well as lyrics from Within Temptation's Stand My Ground.

	Version 7.0: Tanaka Reina Start Date: July 16, 2007 End Date: November 12, 2007 The seventh layout featured my favourite Morning Musume member, Tanaka Reina from her photobook, Alo Hello! Tanaka Reina. Created in PhotoImpact 8.0. Fonts used in the layout: Georgia, PT Banana Split & Hearts BV.

	Version 6.0: T-elos Start Date: December 25, 2006 End Date: July 16, 2007 The sixth layout featured one of the new characters from Xenosaga III, T-elos and featured the lyrics of the ending song Maybe Tomorrow from the same game. Originally started making it in PhotoImpact Pro 8.5 until it decided to die on me. Finished in PhotoImpact 8.0. Fonts used in the layout: Impact, Arial Black & Georgia.

	Version 5.0: Set Me Free Start Date August 22, 2006 End Date December 24, 2006 The fifth layout originally came from a livejournal layout that I was planning on usuing. It featured Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children; also featured lyrics from Lacuna Coil's Heaven's A Lie. It was created in PhotoImpact Pro 8.5. The fonts used Arial Black and Century Gothic.

	Version 4.0: Judgment Start Date January 17, 2006 End Date August 22, 2006 The fourth layout of Lunar Tears was probably my favorite of the past layouts. It featured (again) Lucy from the animanga Elfen Lied. It was originally intended on being used for my livejournal, but ended up being the fourth version. The layout was made in PhotoImpact Pro 8.5. Font used in the layout is Georgia.

	Version 3.0: Lucy/Nyuu Start Date July 3, 2005 End Date January 17, 2006 Lunar Tears third layout featured Lucy/Nyuu from the Anime/Manga Elfen Lied. The choice came from doing a poll on both my LJ and GJ, Lucy got the most votes. I was originally going to use screen caps from the opening, but decided against it because of the nudity >.> Graphics/layout/images were created using PhotoImpact Pro 8.5. The font used in the layout is Arial Black and Impact.

	Version 2.0: Jill Valentine Start Date January 5, 2005 End Date July 3, 2005 Featured Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine from Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Graphics/layout/images were created using PhotoImpact Pro 8.5. The font used in the layout is Arial Black.

No Image	Version 1.0: DAWN Start Date November 11, 2004 (when the site officially opened) End Date January 5, 2005 This layout featured Joseph Michael Linsner's Dawn. The image featured in the layout, was scanned in from the Dawn: 2003 Convention Sketchbook. The layout and graphics were made by using Ulead PhotoImpact 8, using the fonts; La Figura, Ernest, and 04b_21. Sorry, there's no cap from this layout.
